Sign this petition if you want Wab Kinew to resign from the Manitoba NDP. I am an aboriginal man. I have nothing against Wab. I don't really care what he's done or said in the past. Maybe he is truthfully sorry. It doesn't matter though. The NDP are guilty of hypocrisy. Just one week ago the NDP party confronted the Liberal party about one of their candidates. Similar issues. That candidate resigned.

I started this because the double standards in our politics were becoming impossible to ignore. Seeing so many of you echo that frustration has been deeply humbling for me. This conversation belongs to all of you now.

I am honestly stunned by how many of you felt this message was important enough to back. This momentum belongs entirely to the people who recognize the need for consistency in our leadership. Thank you for showing that this conversation is much bigger than any one person.

If a non-indigenous person made similar commentary we'd be up in arms and asking for that person to resign. Me thinks there is a double-standard!
I signed due the embarrassment that he is portraying. Our people need a sincere n humble man, to stand for us. I understand that he is sorry. Just can't help but wonder. What n how does he think of women today.

I live in Fort Rouge. I would never support a candidate who disrespects women. Now I can't support a party who runs that candidate.
