Former Dept. Of Justice Official Christian Adams recently quit over the handling of the voter intimidation case in Philadelphia. Some of you who watch certain TV stations may not even be aware of what I am speaking about. allow me to educate you. I'll take you back to election day outside Philadelphia PA. Members of the New Black Panther party dressed in military clothing were caught on video tape standing outside voting booths with weapons intimidating white voters from casting their constitutional protected right to vote. Few of the Panther members were heard cursing and shouting racial epithets at said potential voters. The Bush Administration was first to bring charges, The violators didn't show for court and were found guilty, All that remained was sentencing. After the change of power with Obama and Eric Holder taking control of the case a decision was made to not pursue the case further. Christian Adams testifying under oath Tuesday July 6th in front of the U.S. Commission On Civil Rights stated his former employer instructed attorneys to ignore this specific case and any others that had a black defendant and white victim. Keep in mind Mr. Adams had to quit his job in order to testify in this clear case of voter intimidation. The last straw was when he heard Assistant Attorney General Thomas Perez state the case was not supported by facts despite the video and audio evidence. This is a clear case of injustice, Had this been members of the KKK dressed in white robes holding nooses and weapons that would've been all over the news. Where's the coverage? Where's the cry for justice on this case? This is no different. Does Eric Holder think he can right the wrongs of the past by allowing the same thing to happen today? This man must be fired and it's up to us to call our leaders and demand they take action.
