Please sign petition for Scottish Gov with proposal to change VT requirement process for rural practices.
- Start visitation period at least 2 weeks earlier for rural practices only to give young dentist time to visit practice without stress. This is because some of the practices require even 1 to 2 days travelling.
- Reimburse cost of travelling to rural practice for interviews.
- Reinstate VT recruitment allowance.
- Help with finding accommodation for time of VT. This is because in some areas there is really difficult to find reasonable accommodation for professionals.

It is impossible for new grads to manage the travel costs and finding a flat in the highlands is a nightmare. This needs to change.
