Arriving at the polls yesterday I strolled up to the intake table and told them my name. I then pointed out my name on their list and was then handed a ballot.After I marked my ballot I walked over to another table ,told them my name and again pointed out my address on their list. They said thank you and I entered my ballot into the box. At no time did anyone ask me for any proof or verification of identification. It would have been very easy to look at the list, pick someone that hadn't voted and cast their vote. I could have very easily done this at each polling place in my town . With all of the talk of hanging chads and voter corruption shouldn't we at least try to do something simple to keep the stream of votes that so many have fought and died for as pristene as possible. this is not a difficult thing to do .It should not restrict ANY legitimate voter from excercising their right to vote.
