A construction and demolition landfill has been proposed to take place on Brickyard Road in Phenix City, Alabama. The site is on poor sandy soil that leads directly to the Chattahoochee River. Contsruction and demolition landfills that are not lined, like the proposed landfill, have shown to casue major public health issues. We need to protect our homes, children, and community from allowing this site to be built!
