Please sign our "Support Option 2 - No Kids Crossing The West Side Highway Between Murray and Chambers Streets" petition. The NYC Department of Education wants us to accept an elementary school zoning option that would have children as young as 4 years old crossing 8 lanes of speeding West Side Highway traffic to get to a school in Battery Park City. Oh, and this is despite the fact that there is a perfectly good school on the safe Tribeca side of the West Side Highway - it's MADNESS. You will NOT be solicited for any money or need to show up to any meetings - just signing this petition would be a huge help. Thanks!!
