On August 16, 2018, several bar owners and managers came together at a Board Meeting requesting that the Village Trustees consider lifting the ban that is currently in place in the Village, in regards to Video Gaming within Lombard businesses.

Business owners, managers and employees are concerned about the amount of customers and revenue local businesses are losing to neighboring communities that allow Video Gaming within their municipality. It should be up to each individual business owner whether or not Video Gaming Terminals are allowed within their business, not decided by a Village-wide ban.

If the ban is lifted, the Village of Lombard would allow businesses to bring video gaming terminals in, abiding by several restrictions set forth by the Village of Lombard. Please sign the petition below, helping bring the decision back to individual business owners.

By bringing video gaming into local businesses we are opening up a huge amount of possibilities for these local bars and restaurants. With revenue created by these terminals, business owners can make much-needed capital investments in their businesses and properties, as well as offering more support to our community, teams, churches and schools, etc. than we already do. With an increase in patrons, these bars and restaurants can look forward to better business which in turn generates more revenue for the Village overall. Help us keep Lombard businesses in Lombard.
