Vote yes on prop 18. This proposition allows teenagers who will soon be 18 to vote and participate in electoral activities, as well as state and nation wide events. Permitting teens to vote has the confirmation of allowing them to be more in touch and active within their government and state officials. 17 states have reduced the voting age to 18, including Georgia and Kentucky. Voting yes on prop 18 will allow California to be one of those states that has more impact with the people inside their state. Our state trusts 18 year olds to enlist in the military to serve and protect, so why do California residents see it unfit for 18 year olds to vote in primary elections? You are the face of change. Again, I urge you to vote YES on proposition 18.

I have been spending my time meeting with students who are tired of being told their future is decided for them. Seeing their frustration reminds me exactly why I started this fight to include them in our democracy.

Seeing this momentum grow feels personal because I know how much my own younger siblings have to offer their communities. It proves that people are ready to trust our teenagers with the future they will inherit.

If i can die for this country i should be able to vote for who runs it. Makes zero sense otherwise.

I will be 18 next year and i want to be involved. please let this happen.
