The board should vote to include turf field construction in the capital project. When student resources are deficient--as the school's poor-draining grass fields are for our student-athletes--the board should be in favor of improving those resources. Having a playable athletic field is a minimum facilities requirement.

I remember playing sports at the school and the conditions due the crazy weather in upstate New York were awful.
