As a rising 2L at the University of Detroit Mercy School of Law, my 1L year taught me firsthand the value of the resources our budget allocates and how deeply they shape our experience as students. Serving as the 1L Class Representative for Lexis+ AI, I made it my mission to advocate for the full value of our tuition dollars and their long-term impact on our legal education and future practice. Through my experience with program fundraising, community investment, and donor-funded initiatives across the nonprofit, government affairs, and community relations sectors, I have seen how critical institutional transparency is to the success of any organization. As your candidate for SBA Executive Treasurer, my goal is simple to help ensure our budget reflects what we all deserve: every dollar working for us.
