We must be responsable to the children. Change is sometimes good. We should also look at option c that looks at putting all the younger children together.

It would be far more prudent to consider taking the $ allocated to the new field construction project at the HS, even if it requires a re-vote. There is already tremendous opposition to that project and I would bet that the greater majority of the community would opt to save East School as the priority if given the choice between the two.

Why are they talking about this now? Why didn't they talk about it when the schools were damaged from Sandy? What if another flood happens? There will be no room for any Plan B like there was this time around.... Haven't our kids been through enough?

my son loves east school an was very mad when i told him he might have to leave he cryed an asked for miss weiss. Now how can ya do that to these kids

so for $5-$10 a month we are going to increase class size to larger than some of the lowest performing districts on LI? keep East open , for the kids & for the sake of everyone's property value

Our community is recovering from trauma. Our children do not need more unnecessary changes and we can not afford for our home values to depreciate any further!
