For too long, Toekomsrus police station members, formerly Mohlakeng police station members have silently endured a work environment that is neither fair nor supportive due to the actions of our supervisor, PI Ngema. This petition comes from a place of frustration and hope for change.

PI Ngema's leadership style has fostered a workplace culture where empathy towards workers is often lacking. On numerous occasions there has been a noticeable absence of understanding and support, which has resulted to discontent and low morale amongst employees ("high morale high discipline, low morale low discipline).

There is also a concerning pattern of bias where some team members receive preferential treatment over others.

This an issue that affects not only our professional environment but also our mental and emotional well being. PI Ngema's approach to management is problematic at its best. Firstly, it is quite evident that Ngema does not sympathize with the workers. The lack of empathy manifests in many forms, including dismissive behavior towards legitimate concerns and issues raised by the team and working in such environment is detrimental to our motivation and productivity.

Furthermore, PI Ngema is rarely present to supervise us effectively. A supervisors role is to provide guidance and support, yet Ngema's absence leaves us without proper leadership, which end up putting so much pressure on team leaders, unnecessarily, causing more confusion, inconsistency and conflicts. In the few instances that PI Ngema is available, the favouritism is unmistakable, certain employees are granted privileges that are not extended to others thus creating a divisive and toxic working environment.

PI Ngema also tends to lead with emotions rather than rational judgment, which often affects decision-making processes and outcomes. This emotional volatility results in unpredictable workplace where professional guidelines seem secondary to personal preference.

We are calling on higher management to address these concerns promptly. It is crucial for the well-being of all employees that these issues are investigated thoroughly and addressed appropriately. Reforms are necessary to ensure fairness, proper supervision and a supportive work atmosphere for everyone.

This petition is signed to prompt necessary changes and ensure a fair working environment for all.
