El Rio Community Health Center needs a strong leader who supports quality patient care and the employees of the organization, especially in the midst of the COVID-19 pandemic. Our current CEO is more interested in profits, positive media attention and her own political agenda than supporting the organization's employees doing the day-to-day work of a community health center.

This has been a trend in the last 2-3 years but has come to a head in the last year with her administration's refusal to accept any labor contract that doesn't include cuts in PTO and/or pay for employees.

We ask the Board of Directors to protect the mission of El Rio and compel the CEO to negotiate a fair contract for front-line health care employees and put quality patient care first or move to replace her immediately.
