We love St Maarten and Aruba. Don't understand why the government doesn't automatically rush in to help with the rebuilding of your beautiful island. We were in Aruba this past May and plan on coming to St Maarten next April. Praying you get all the help you need. God bless you .

The people of St. Maarten and the country as a whole deserve better! Incompetence, ego and misplaced pride are only to the benefit of one person. Not only do we deserve better, the country also desperately NEEDS better! We need to move forward, not to be deliberately held back. When really wanting what is best for St. Maarten and its people acknowledge where one is not capable to serve this interest and make room for others who can. That is what a good leader will do for his people. Be part of the "greater good" instead of failing to even want to see it. Ego and pride are dangerous ingredients when "leading" a country, especially now that we must recover from the Irma catastrphe to survive. The leader of a country has the obligation to do what is best for the country!

Sxm needs a government that is trust worthy, and wants the best for the country. Sxm government are not helping the people we need better.

Mr. William Marlin: Go to a Bank and ask for a car loan. The bank will ask for many documents like income slips and proof of residency. If loan is approved the bank may place stipulations on this loan like, you must put 15% down or most likely you must insure the car All Risk!
Now tell the Bank your not willing to sign the loan agreement due to the stipulations! See if you get the loan!
Now show up to the bank requesting the loan Without a plan of action!
Are you enjoying your 10 day Vacation while the our people suffer? We the people are fine with you not coming back!
