Sorry to say PM Marlin did not have competent team of Hurricane Committee. Hurricane shelters were to be opened after passing of Hurricane n closed after 48 hrs. People who needed help n care before Hurricane strikes had to wait after Hurricane for shelters to open. This was totally wrong decision by committe. DECISION was changed after social media upheavel.Looting was not stopped until after 3 days after looters took full advantage of incompetent n slackness on part of Govt security forces n late action on part of PM n Committee. No confidence vote will be lessons for New Govt. That SXM population is not Blind and can see the negative performance of Present Govt.

He is not fit for the face of the government of Sxm, he is selfish and he is stalling on financial aid being given to this island....He is so focused on who looted rather then worry about creating a solution for a speedy recovery to our people.!!! I want him OUT!!!!

Incompetent, deceitful, greedy, and arrogant that's what the current government represents. Hurricane Irma has shown us exactly how little our government cares about the people of St. Maarten.

The government should represent the PEOPLE, and this is not the time for political tomfoolery. The People need help as the island rebuilds!
