Totally ridiculous idea. Some roads should have the speed limit highered not lowered.

I consider Barry Brehaut to have to many of his own agendas and ignores the wishes of the people of this island that he is supposed to represent.

I have no confidence in the current E&I committee. Their badly judged, badly 'researched' policies are so out of touch it is unbelievable that they are in a position of government.

Why are so many elected deputies etc not listening to their electorate. This is another ill thought out personal crusade thats has to be stopped.

Why do all the members of this and past 'Traffic Committees' always seem to be of the "We don't like cars" persuasion ? Time we had a balanced committee who reflect the whole population.

No confidence in any of the Stats and they blatantly ignore what anyone says.So intent on pushing their own agenda with no chance of changing their minds.Dropping the speed limit will make no difference, people will still speed and drive the same as now.Waste of time, waste of money but one they were always going to make whatever happened.

As a cyclist who does over 6000 miles a year and drives another 11000 I have no problem with current speed limits

Interesting that the committee are all keen cyclists. Committees should be thinking of the majority of the population, not themselves and their own interests.

Roads should be going up to 40 with newer safer cars. These people are a joke.
