Yet another ridiculous decision. I’ve never heard anyone say ‘we need to lower the speed limit’.

The committee is out of control and poses a threat to the economy.
The individual members are persuing their own goals and failing to reresent their electorate.

We need a government that is going to show strength and respect and not dictate us is 2018 after all and this current system is medieval.

The braking systems and handling on cars of today are infinitely superior to those of 50 years ago and the speed limit was 35 then, I rest my case.

They must go; Brehaut has become like a dictator. This is totally unnecessary, and the public consultation was a clear 'no' result.

Disgraceful waste of time and totally unnecessary on a small island that already has low enough speed limits.
To buy the signs before this was announced just about says it all. I for one shall not vote for any of these deputies in the future.

I do not wish for the speed limits to be changed, and the current deputies that have voted for this ridiculous idea do not represent what the people of Guernsey wish, not in this subject and a whole lot more that they are doing to waste the public's money. i am thankful that we are having the referendum this coming week so that hopefully it will get past as an island voting system so that we the people can hopefully make the message clear that those that are elected are done so to serve the people of Guernsey and not their own over blown egos.
Stupid decision
Leave the speed limits as they are

35 mph is slow enough .
