Just another ridiculous idea from the States of Guernsey!

Ridiculous and undemocratic rule by Fiat! Speed limits are adequate and fair for revenue collection. Traffic and the state and nature of the roads limit speed naturally.

There are no statistics about any accidents suggesting we need to reduce speeds on our roads, the proposed slower speeds
will mean more road congestion which in turn means more impact on the environment, the proposed speed changes are surely being suggested to raise funds from speeding fines,

Deputy Brehaut insulted us by suggesting the 55% were manipulated by social media.

There are enough people driving slowly on the road to keep the speeds down, no need to fix something that isn't broken.

I am sorry I ever voted for some of these idiots. I don't want more 25mph zones I want more common sense and less wasting time and money

The only thing that needs reducing is the number of clowns running E&I

This entire committee needs to resign forthwith. They do NOT represent the people. Is YB still pulling their strings? Puppets.

I think it’s unecessaey the speed limits are low enough already and it should have been a states vote not decided by the committee

When Deputy Brehaut was Vice President of E&I, under the presidency of Yvonne Burford, they followed a strategy of removing the car from Guernsey. Since her demise from E&I he has continued to pursue her ridiculous policy. I believe the hapless committee members have been pressurised into formulating this ridiculous policy.

A complete joke. Where is the evidence of the accidents that have taken place on these roads due to higher speeds (35mph). A ridiculous initiative driven by the Green Party.

The whole E&I committee need to remember they are supposed to represent the will of the people, not their own anti car agendas!
