They have wasted money on trivial items and do not mention Diesel buses in this anti diesel age and not dealt with the things that matter.

Sorry my husband meant Barry Brehaut not Al Brouard
Brehaut is only interested in promoting his own views and does not listen to anybody else

It would appear that Deputy Al Brouard is only interested in arguments that support his misguided views.

Lowering them will be more dangerous then it is apparently now as people will be even less likely to look up from their phones or pay attention when crossing meaning more accidents will occur

Absolute outrage! Guernsey already has plenty of roads at 25, reducing more of them from 35 to 25 is an absolute piss take when clearly 99% of people don’t have any problem so why need to change it?

One of the stated reasons for lowering the limits was due to increased housing development along these routes in recent year's, and yet, no houses or planning permission has been built or granted for more than 30 years! None will be either, as all the land is designated green, and the land owners want it to remain that way. In addition, the existing changeover speed limit introduced 5 years' ago or so, is totally ignored on a daily basis, and in that time, only 1 unfortunate Mum aiming to do a school drop off has been caught and banned, all the other speedsters throughout each day and night have yet to be caught! Outside of this Parish, as an observation, the majority of the other main routes are self-regulating in speed throughout the day due to the very high levels of traffic, so I see no need whatsoever to reduce these due to that fact, when they are not so busy, there are less pedestrians, and less conflicts, so why reduce? For my final point, I would like to highlight the fact that it has recently come to my attention, that the road signs and poles are already in the Island for erection, and were so prior to this decision, an absolute abuse of power and spending of budget - so yes they should all now go, and be thoroughly investigated for abuse of power, and use of public funds in a fraudulent manner and be prosecuted accordingly if proved in court!

How do you know these signatures are from real individuals?
