Recently in Guernsey the Committee for the Environment & Infrastructure has decided to change the speed limits on 80 of Guernsey's roads, moving from 35mph to 25mph. Despite 55% of the people asked, by the committee, saying they didn't want these changes, the committee has gone ahead and agreed to the reduction of speed.

We the undersigned, have no confidence left in the committee to carry out the Environment & Infrastructure mandate in light of their recent decision with regards to speed limits.

As a result we request that Deputies: Barry Brehaut, Mark Dorey, Shane Langlois, Lindsay De Sausmarez, Sarah Hansmann-Rouxel, resign from this committee with immediate effect. Allowing a more pragmatic committee to be formulated and fulfill this important role within the States of Guernsey.
