We need stability in the Instructional Office at this time. The position is key to ensuring stability and instructional planning. Exploring why the VC wants to leave and making changes that ensures she can stay would be in the best interest of the college.

I have been tremendously impressed with V.C. Susan Lamb, for her competence, knowledge of Title V, respect for the role of staff, faculty and Academic Senate, willingness to explain even unpopular decisions to the college community, and her ability to build consensus in a contentious time. I recognize that no one can make her stay, but I urge the Administration to do all in their power to make staying at CCSF a more viable and attractive option for V.C. Lamb.
