Vote NO to Fake "School Choice" Subsidies (No2ESA)

We are homeschoolers. We do not want any part of public education. We do not need the government's help. We do not want the government's regulation. THSC does not speak for me. In fact, they delete our comments when we question them on social media. Surely, there are more important things for our legislators to focus on? How about getting rid of daylight savings time? That would actually help.

No to ESA!

We implore you, our representatives, to defend Texas liberty! We ask you to vote NO on any ESA and “school choice” bills.

We already have school choice in Texas. This bill will only further ruin public education.

Homeschoolers do not need subsidies. Don't take money away from the schools.

We already have the best homeschool laws in the country. We are free to educate our children. Stop this law from trying to attach strings from the government.

We have the right to educate our own children with our values and beliefs. They are our kids!!!!

Texas parents know that choice is the carrot to control. We say NO to SB3, HB1335 and HB1184!

I am a homeschool parent and I do not support and legislation that seeks to establish ESA's for homeschool students. I do not support the government testing and evaluation that will come with government money. Homeschool families in Texas have the freedom to chose the education that is nest for their children and I do not support legislation that begins the path to testing and unnecessary regulations.

Please vote against these changes. Texas already has the best options and educational laws available. Please preserve our freedoms.

There is no choice in any form of these proposals until Texas is rid of the common core standards that we accepted with the NCLB waiver and Race to the Top funds. The only people that benefit from these schemes are on the investment end. This has nothing to do with the good of our kids or better academic opportunities for literacy. Just say no to Dan Patrick, Larry Taylor and their crony brotherhood.

We need the Gov't out of schooling, not controlling it "in a better way."

No to school choice!!

I went to the first Leeper hearing. These bills will put Texas homeschooling back to that time. They sound good but aren't! These "choice" bills will remove freedom.

Keep government hands out of our private business.

One on one homeschooling has done awesome for my 4 grandchildren...the public school what with its violence--belligerence-bullying kids ..please dont take away the safety and freedom of my grandchildren
