This is outrageous! Please remove Bonner from her position! High school Arts & Sports are extremely important . Bonner is an embarrassment to our town!

As a mother of a junior in the highschool she is heartbroken use won't be able to do chorus senior year. How can out town compete with new haven with no arts program and no freshman sports. Cannot wait to move . 2 more children in the school system and I plan on being long gone before they get to highschool. Our highschool band wins competitions . What do our children work towards in elementary band if there's nothing in the highschool.

Please do not resign her Contract. She is ruining our kids lives. Taking away freshman sports and study hall from the junior high school.. it's just ridiculous. ..

Not all children have a chance outside of school to participate in extracurricular activities. They rely on the school for such activities. She needs to stop taking from our children.

She's trying to cut all these things, however at the Middle school, she said that children should be able to go out and participate and extracurriculars. It will be hard to do such when she is trying to cut freshman sports, get rid of schools, separating grade levels, and cutting most things up in the high school. The fine arts are a big thing in this town, especially the Marching band. The band was as a matter of fact one of the few things that was successful in the sports and extracurricular topics. I was also told word of mouth that the town says that they support the band and appreciate the hard work and effort they put in, however do not help support them financially, unlike the sports teams who get constant recognition. Even chorus. Many kids enjoy singing, and many 8th graders signed up to take the class as a freshman but are unable to do so. it's tragic to see how she is running this town and school into the ground all for a bigger pay check. she has been removed from several other schools in the past holding a negative track record. Does she really mean it when she says she does the best for these kids?!. cutting sports like baseball and football, which are also very successful in the town would be letting down hundreds of students, leading them to want to recruit to different high schools. they wonder why East haven has a negative reputation. Every student in this town takes pride in the sports and extracurriculars. The students should protest, along with the parents, it is their education and future.
