Remove Bolgen Vargas as a contender for

Rochester School District Superintendent

To: The Rochester City School Board

WE THE UNDERSIGNED, as Parents and taxpayers of the Rochester City School District, Do not want Bolgen Vargas to be considered for the permanent position of Superintendent of the Rochester City School District. As registered voters of Monroe County we respectfully request that Bolgen Vargas’s name be withdrawn from consideration for the position of Superintendent of schools or that you VOTE NO to him getting the permeant position.

You, the School Board said that, as interim-superintendent, Mr. Vargas would not be considered for the permanent position, and we expect you to hold to that statement.

We as parents, taxpayers and voters do not have confidence in Mr. Vagas’s ability to perform the duties required of this position. Mr. Vagas has failed our children as interim-superintendent, and we reject his name for the permanent position.

Vargas said quote " I do not know education, I just know kids"

If that is the case then why is he applying to be superintendent of our EDUCATION System.

Please take our voices seriously. We the voters.

I really thought this might just float by unnoticed but seeing the momentum build makes me realize how many people are actually watching what is happening with the board. It is honestly pretty wild to see so many of you speaking up because it really feels like the message about the integrity of the selection process is finally hitting home.

I cannot believe this man is still in a school system. This man told my husband he has no place in school and to think about more hands on activities. He is horrible.

Enough is enough. They promised us he wouldnt be considered for permanent. Why do they keep lying to the parents in this district?

TOTAL JOKE. We see right through this. Hire someone who actually knows how to run a school system.

My son has been struggling for two years now and no one at the district office cares. Stop this now.

So tired of the bad management. We deserve better than this for our tax dollars.

Vargas has gotta go. Kids arent learning anything and the board just sits there. Get rid of him.
