As a small business owner of an online retail business located in West Valley I would ask the legislators of Utah would oppose SB182 and HB235. We use affiliate marketing in our business and as a former content website owner that relied upon affiliate marketing it would be misguided for states to create this form of tax revenue for the state. I believe it would come at thee cost of jobs, employment and additional business tax revenue due to the decrease in overall sales revenue to a business like mine if this legislation were to pass.

I'm opposed to all new taxes. Government gets enough. They need to learn to deal with what they have it get out of the way so good people can move on and manage it.

This bill is affect my blog Whattheteacherwants.blogspot.com. My blog partner and I are teacher bloggers. We earn extra money through our Google Ads and Amazon Affiliate links. This money is important to our blog and compensates us for the time we spend helping other teachers all throughout the country.
