I absolutely do not support this (SB16) as a mother to 2 children about to enter the public school system and ask that you don't either. Instead we need to fully fund the education in Illinois. If SB16 is passed we will face horrible consequences for our children and the districts affected. Why would we want to negatively disrupt a district that is doing well?! It is a reason so many families chose the area they live in. These higher income families will just turn to private schooling instead of public schools that are headed down the tubes with continued high taxes. Terrible terrible outcomes if SB16 goes through.
