NOT FAIR!!!!! Worked hard to be able to afford to live in an area w/ such taxes to fund great schools. Tired of everyone else benefiting from sweat off my back. This will not have a positive effect on property values either. The negative list is too long.

It is not fair to redistribute our high property taxes to other schools. We moved nto our community for the be4st education for our children and sacrificed to pay the higher property taxes to get that education, not to give it away to those who don't pay property taxes. Many students' parents don't pay property taxes, they rent Why not use general taxes or vehicle plates monies for schools. I lived in Florida in the 1970's and money from vehicle license plates funded the schools-that way every family paid their fair share-NOT just homeowners!
