terrible place for a tower in a totally residential area. Put it on the telephone pole 200 yards north or 200 yards west, up Nuevo Leon and Picamadores. Don't put money in the pocket of a construction company that receives county contracts to build roads, who just happens to own the golf course!

There are no above ground utilities within a half mile of this site. It is totally out of character with the design of these communities which were sited for the expansive views of the Santa Cruz valley

A cell tower in a residential area is ridiculous! It is conceivable in large cities where there is no surrounding space available, but if we look out our window there is lots of non residential space! And, to make a decision without us knowing and ing it when over half of our neighbors are gone just is unfair. Lets care about people, not about corporate owned towers!!!

I have two comments. First, this is not where the tower should be located, as there are certain to be many other places that do not affect as many residents. Second, our HOA was not given adequate notice of this request, and, as a result, the members have not had a reasonable opportunity to express their views. I attended the meeting of the Pima County Planning & Zoning Commission, and requested a continuance so that affected residents would have an opportunity to review the request and express their views. It was clear to me that the Commissioners had made up their minds, and paid little attention to my request. As a result, it was quickly and arbitrarily denied. Very simply, we have not had the opportunity to be heard.

Owners of San Ignacio Golf Course are trying to push through the construction of the 58 ft. cell tower while nearby homeowners are away to summer homes. Many will be not informed of the proposal. Property values and views will be reduced to the nearby homeowners. This is not the location for such an eyesore! The tower should be relocated to the west by the mine tailings!

Strongly disagree with the proposal to place a cell tower at the top of my San Ignacio Heights subdivision. Also feel that homeowners were not given sufficient warning that the cell tower could be voted on by GReen Valley Council. The public was not included in the decision making process.

I think it is absurd to put a tower in a residential area when there are so many other locations away from homes that could be used! The resale value of our home goes down after we have put so much time, effort and cash to keep it up.

I agree with all the above comments. I'm sure the timing of this was deliberate. This is another example of business trumping the rights of individuals.

I oppose the installation of the cell phone tower at San Ignacio Heights Golf Course, Green Valley, AZ, for health, economic and aesthetic reasons. The proposal comes at a time when many of those most affected by this structure are not present to express an opinion. Therefore I request that the permit be denied.

We are all proud of the magnificent views in Green Valley. It is one of the reasons we moved here. To allow a cell phone tower, which would be seen from our home, would be devastating to the beauty of our neighborhood. Please stop this and help to keep Green Valley rural.

This cell tower does not belong in a residential area where views and property values will most definitely be impacted. Pima County has an ordinance requiring the county to take both views and impact on real estate values into consideration when deciding on placement of cell towers. Many alternative sites are available in our area.
