It must be saved. It is the center of many activities especialy for our schools with Golf Lessons and tennis lessions I have had several Grand children take lessons there. It has much wildlife there as my wife and I walk there and I played Golf there , we se many birds and Foule. This is why we have bought our home and this would destroy sthe value of our property and ts he many others around this whole and theBonsall area It would destroy the view that we so much enjoy and paid for. This would lower the money the school receives. It would lower the amount of business that is is created here. This is only helping a developer make millons off of the credits from our lost of recreation schooling and enjoyment. I have enjoyed attending the Rotary meetings there with fsriend of Rotary from Spokane Washington MY familey has traveled from Seattle,Wah. and from Chigo to play this gold course many times. They travel to play golg in th e winter when their courses are not playable. My wife & I walk this area every day practically, It is the only that we have to walk jere unless we would Drive some where. We are 84 and the Drs. stell to walk every day. We meet many other people walking and many have ther dogs with them. It would be a terrible thing for the whole community sto lose this wonderful and beaustiful treasure. signed : Louis a. Bartley

I have always dreamed of having the time to play this golf course with my wife when we retire (no time now) I would hate to lose this opportunity for ourselves and others. Have friends that live on the course, worked and paid for there home only to lose value due to circumstances beyond their control.

This course is such a gem I was thrilled when I moved here and realized what a great place I had right across the street!

I played multiple junior golf tournaments growing up at San Luis Rey Downs and always had a blast there. It would be a shame for other North County golfers to not have the same opportunity in the future!

The golf course is the heart of the community. Its replacement with something that can only lower values, increase possibility of pests (including mosquitos, hence West Nile disease) does not sound like a good tradeoff.

Please don't decrease our property values by replacing the beautiful golf course with weeds, snakes and field mice.

It makes no sense to destroy existing habitat to supposedly create new habitat.

Lived in Bonsall my whole life and have visited the San Luis Rey Downs many of times. It would be ashame to dismember it. As well as turning it into a wetlands would disrupt the watershed, as the shrubery grew.

I will be active in the coming months to save the San Luis Rey Golf Course from the destruction of an environment that has thrived for a half century if this needless and senseless abuse of our community goes through.

Our local economies are suffering enough. I see this project as one more nail in the coffin.
