The developers behind this wetlands project are finally starting to feel the heat from our community. We have reached a critical point of momentum that makes it impossible for them to ignore our demands any longer.

This will destroy the Bonsall community. I suspect these mitigation credits will be used or sold to develop large tracts of land in Bonsall adding hundreds of new homes. Please keep Bonsall rural.
The destruction of SLRD will destroy the property values within miles by at least 20%. In a radius of 2 miles that is a loss of $289 million dollars. Will the Mitagation bank write that check? The Downs is much more than a golf course and should be treated as such.
The small community of Bonsall doesn't have much in the way of community and San Luis Rey golf course is the epicenter of community in Bonsall. To strip this away in a money grab is wrong. It's the reason so many homeowners bought here in the first place.
Wetland will create brush and attract transients that will start fires. This is first and foremost a safety issue for the children who attend Bonsall Elementary School and for the residential homes surrounding the immediate area
Resident for 28 years and I feel the County is showing disrespect for our community. We are more than mitigation points. We are families, neighbors and friends who live with and support the wildlife.
Save the golf course. Bones all is staged to be the crown of north North County. Keep the course green a beau fitful and the surrounding community continues to grow!

I played multiple junior golf tournaments growing up at San Luis Rey Downs and always had a blast there. It would be a shame for other North County golfers to not have the same opportunity in the future!
