We the undersigned Broome County voters are opposed to the creation of the Office of Energy Development. We believe that this office is a cover to promote fracking in Broome County. We believe that this office detracts from ongoing sustainability efforts, given that neither staff person has any experience working on renewable energy. We believe that this is a misappropriation of tax payer dollars. We urge the Broome County Legislature to vote against the creation of the "Office of Energy Development".
