I don't care what your standpoint is, this is inappropriate for children to see.

That is pretty inappropriate for the library, I take my three children there and find the display offensive and inappropriate, and if I saw it there again I would turn around and walk out. Despite the fact that I am pro-life, I don't feel like explaining to my children on a Saturday afternoon and what the purpose of this display is and why it is wrong

My 3 year old son is certainly tall enough to look into this display case. And as it is the first display you see when you walk in the door, it is previewed by my children every time we enter the library. Would the librarians like to go into detail to answer why a coat hanger is on a necklace? If you are not willing to explain the case in depth, then I would suggest moving the display to where little eyes will not see it.

I found this display to be offensive and inappropriate. I'm appalled that it was displayed where young children could see it. My four year old would be able to read it, so I imagine anyone older could certainly read it and some of the material was NC-17 at best.

While I might phrase things a little differently, I agree wholeheartedly that this type of display cannot be visible for young patrons ever. It was propaganda, not merely educational. It was absolutely not age appropriate for my young readers.

There is a natural order and a time for things. Children need time to be children without sexual pressure. Society is pressuring them to grow up and cope with things their brains are not developed enough to be ready for. This is robbing the children of their childhoods. Is there any wonder so many of our young people are depressed and feeling overwhelmed? The bottom line is that adults are making money at the expense of children.

It is absolutely unbelievable that any librarian would think that it is okay for this kind of display out in front of where young children can see it. It is disgraceful and action should be taken to remove it now!

I find this display in very poor taste. It subverts the rights of parents to educate their children according to their family's faith and morals. One can only imagine that the existence of such a display (especially poised so prominently) may be the result of NOW providing funding to the library. Is that so? Please remove this display and allow parents to raise their children themselves. Our family ... Our choice.

As a new mother with a young child, it is extremely concerning that a place I would want to take my son to learn and grow I can't due to vulgar propaganda too accessible to innocent minds.

You are the public library a neutral party where people can go to get information and foster a love for reading/learning not a political platformx; and for crying outloud keep it PG.

This display was highly inappropriate for an environment where young children could see and pick up the materials. My sons are older, but I frequented JMRL when they were younger, and would have been horrified to see this display as they entered...in a location they couldn't help but notice.

These displays are completely inappropriate for a library. Libraries are about books, history and imagination, and a place that is supposed to be family friendly, NOT a forum for pushing agendas. Very, very disappointing JMRL!
