Voices To Free David Yarde
In 2014, David Yarde was convicted of a homicide in Boston — a crime he did not commit.
Since that conviction, multiple independent forensic experts have conducted detailed reviews of the case. Every single one has reached the same conclusion: it was scientifically impossible for David Yarde to be the shooter.
The physical evidence does not support the prosecution’s theory.
The trajectory analysis contradicts the state’s claims.
Video evidence places the shooter in an entirely different position.
This is not a matter of opinion — it is science.
Even more alarming, a former Suffolk County District Attorney's Office Assistant District Attorney has come forward under oath, stating clearly that David Yarde was wrongfully convicted and that critical evidence was ignored and never properly investigated.
Let that sink in.
A prosecutor — someone who once stood on the side of the state — has admitted that this case was mishandled.
And yet, despite all of this:
- The courts continue to deny relief
- The scientific findings have not been meaningfully addressed
- David remains behind bars
For over a decade, David has fought for his freedom through every legal avenue available to him. He has filed motions, appeals, and petitions — all while facing a system that refuses to fully confront the evidence.
Now, he is running out of time and resources.
To make matters worse, along the way, individuals who claimed to support and advocate for him exploited his situation, leaving him financially unable to continue pushing his case forward at the level it requires.
This is bigger than one man.
This is about accountability.
This is about integrity in our justice system.
This is about correcting a wrong when the evidence is undeniable.
An appeal is currently pending.
Right now — at this very moment — public awareness could make the difference between continued injustice and long-overdue freedom.
Without attention, even the strongest evidence can be ignored.
Without accountability, even clear innocence can be overlooked.
We cannot let that happen.
We are calling on the courts, the District Attorney’s Office, and all appropriate authorities to:
- Fully review and acknowledge the forensic evidence
- Address the sworn statement of wrongful conviction
- Reopen and correct this case immediately
David Yarde has lost years of his life to a conviction that science and sworn testimony say is wrong.
Now is the time to act.
