Good grief! We work hard to have our home and recreational vehicles. If it's on our property there should be no issue! We are not a homeowners association!

If I own or rent a piece of property it is my right to store my material possessions there

Personal property is Personal Property

If you own your home you should be able to store your RV or camper on your property! This isn't a condo association! It's the American Dream to own your own home so you can do whatever you want with it! This is upsetting!

I strongly disagree with any ordinance prohibiting the parking of any kind of personal property on property that I own or rent.

I bought my house because the property was configured to allow me to park my RV next to the structure. Do not devalue my home and add additional cost to me for off-site RV parking. Please listen to the citizens of Goleta and direct your attention elsewhere.

I work in commercial fishing as a deckhand and my whole goal is to own my own fishing vessel. with this ordinance I would be forced to buy a slip at the harbor and not be able to park it in my driveway. making my life harder than it needs to be.

You should have the right to park what ever you want in your drive way.

Let people park what they want in their own yards.

It is very disturbing that we are allowing three story apartments for transient non-taxpaying visitors, vacation home rentals with ten cars out front of a residential home, only to punish residents who work and live here full time while paying taxes to support this non-sense. Please come to your senses and leave us alone. We have worked to hard to have you take it away.

There are hundreds of RV's that we as tax paying citizens and residence of Goleta and Santa Barbara have on our personal property. There is literally no room at the local storage facilities for the amount of RV's this would affect. Much less, the storage facilities pricing for what you get is unreasonable for the recreational purposes these are designed for. I understand that some trailers and RV's on some properties may be in poor condition, again this is people’s personal property. Maybe the city should take some city land, and pour asphalt or Concrete, fence it in to create a city of Goleta RV storage site at an affordable cost that would certainly create a few jobs and make revenue for the city. Many people would prefer to store for $50 a month, the typical person cannot afford over $100 a month to store their trailers or RV's. If you pass this ordinance, the people it affects will simply become more creative and this will most likely cause further issues.

Dictating what we keep in our driveways does not make for a Goodland.

There is no viable storage option in the area so it will force people to sell RV's. Which impacts recreation and vacations. RV's also serve as options in the case of evacuation, so this is also a safety issue. And for what, because some residents have decided what is aesthetically pleasing and what isn't? What's next, what color car is permitted to be parked in driveways?

I am a Comedy Producer in town and my RV is vital to my livelyhood, I also have a 3 year old daughter and we go on trips with it. We have a wonderful relationship with the neighbors and have no complaints - this law would littirely drive me and my business out of town.

The creation of the 20' setback for RV's will be a great inconvenience for me as I have a short driveway. I may have to give up ownership of my camper and this will affect my lifestyle. This regulation would have a serious negative impact on our family.
