The people of Kokopo are against the sewerage ponds that are 20 meters from the 300+ dolphins that give birth, rest & play everyday in this partucular area. Please sign this petition to help us stop this senseless inhumane act. Not only will it destroy the Dolphins natural habitat it will also ruin the livelyhood of the villages surrounding this polluted eyesore that rely on the natural abundance of marine life for food and income. This is supposed to be the tourism hub of Papua New Guineas untapped potential. It is not to late to make better use of the structure in place to better the lives for the people surrounding. This petitiin will be sent to the appropriate government bodies who may see and hear our plight.
