One could buy South African passport on the street before 2006. Before that South Africans did not require visa for UK and Switzerland and could enter this 2 countries without a visa, till Illegal immigrants in S.Africa purchased S.African passport and entered the above mentioned countries. I have family and friends in both the countries. Now we have to pay a fortune to apply a Schengen visa!

I am British by ancestral birth right. I love SA but I would like to see my family without the lengthy process of a Visa and having to feel like a criminal.

We are not all asylum seekers. We just want to visit beautiful Europe and contribute to the economy, especially Greece.

I travel abroad regularly and the time and money it takes to get my visas is ludicrous. I live in Limpopo, a four hour drive from any of the embassies. Please make South Africans visa free in the Schengen area.

Stop the middlemen squeezing the average person who cannot afford to apply three or four times because the VSF offices act like they have no idea why x,y,z wasn't requested in the first place but unfortunately you now have to reapply from scratch!
