Are there any other Vinyard parents who do not agree with the schools policy on having the students carry their belongings from class to class instead of using their bags? According to the principal, the school bag must stay in their homeroom for safety reasons. Every day students have to carry their binders, up to 6 notebooks, and pencil cases to each class in their arms, and no plastic bin or tote bad is allowed. Some students also bring lunch boxes, water bottles, sports ball to play with a recess, and other misc items to school. These are also required to move from class to class with the students. Let's see if we as parents, can help change this policy to help our kids enjoy school just a little more. Please sign this petition if you want this policy to be changed.
