VIN SCULLY IN THE BOOTH FOR THE MLB WORLD SERIES!
I'm petitioning for Iconic Dodger Announcer, Vin Scully, be selected by FOX to broadcast at the World Series this year.
Mr. Scully has been anouncing for the Dodgers for over 65 years. He has just been tapped for another year with the team. Giving him one of the longest careers of anyone in professional sports.
It would be an honor and treat for baseball fans throughout the world to hear Mr. Scully host the Fall Classic. MLB Fans would get to experience what Dodger Fans get to here throughout the season.
The current position is has been held by Joe Buck who he himself has said:
“Personally, I’d love it. We’ve always toyed with the idea of having the hometown guy involved in a World Series broadcast. I’m from that camp. In my dad’s era, we paid a nod of tribute to the greats. And there’s no one like Vin, or close to Vin. I’d happily step aside to hear his voice (on the World Series). I would not fight that at all. That’s just how I grew up.”
Without question, this is probably the best decision MLB could make since integrating!
