OMG!!! I'm from Missouri and in 1979 I married my High School sweetheart who joined the Navy and we were stationed in San Diego. Our first apartment was right across the street ( 229 20th Street) from this beautiful old house. I was recently going through some old pictures and started thinking about that beautiful old house in San Diego, so I looked it up and found out it is facing ruins! Please someone HELP! This is part of your history San Diego! Don't let it deteriorate! I loved going over there and touring this place. It is a monument! Places like these need to be preserved not torn down.

I visited Villa Montezuma when I first moved to San Diego almost 15 years ago. I loved it. I can't believe it's still closed after 7 years, what a shame that so many people are unable to visit this treasure!

We can not let our history parish. It is important to save our history for our children and our children's children. Save the Villa Montezuma Museum and let history survive!!
