Many serious issues with The village. -no compensation or break due to loss of amenities during pandemic - lawn service and trash starts at 8 a.m. loud and ridiculous - lack of gate security. Literally is pointless and anyone can get in. - elevator been broken atleast 4 times for long periods of time over weeks. List goes on, surprised a class action law suit hasnt started.

The security hasn’t been much help in any of my interactions with them. Seems like they kinda just want you to leave them alone. I’m not quite sure how the security works, sometimes I randomly see them and most of the time I’m not sure if they are even on the property. Please some transparency please. Many times, cars in front of me, coming up the hill, will pull off, wait for me to enter and follow me in. That’s definitely not safe. I 100% agree that people shouldn’t be able to just walk in without showing any id or proof of residency. I’ve also noticed that bikes have been getting stolen since the pandemic started. We use to leave our bikes in the bike room but I began noticing bikes were being stolen or bike parts. My sons bike seat was stolen last week. The room doesn’t have controlled access which doesn’t make sense. I no longer keep my bike in there.

Definitely we need cameras in all garages, my car got broken into and having cameras definitely can help with crimes reduction so we can feel protected living here.

Extremely disappointed with this communities security, lack of resident services, and absolute horrible communication. I am extremely upset with the way the resident office handled my car break in after providing a police report. Also reported to security and had to call 4 days in a row to reach them, not a care in the world. This is not the place i thought it would be. Once again I am absolutely disturbed at the fact that no one here cares about the residents besides the residents themselves.

The lack of responsibility the management of this community takes for the safety of the community and its residents is upsetting. Tenants were indeed sold on the idea that this is a safe and wonderful community To live in and since we moved in community, managements actions have fell short and the residents feel neglected and unsafe. We no longer “love where we live” one of your company mottos. There are daily thefts of mail, cars, and personal property, as well as countless break-ins. Security is seriously inadequate and I have personally called several times about some issues and got a voicemail instead of being able to speak to a person. The front gate is also inadequate as I have witnessed many people tailgating others to get in. Pedestrians are not even questioned or stopped and anyone can come in as they please. This is a serious problem and the residents are the ones suffering. These things and more have been brought to your attention time and time again and little has been done about these issues. The cameras in this community either do not work, or are ineffective. The community reviews online reflect these problems and more, and our hope is that if the current management takes action now, and starts to do the right things for the residents, if they can’t, then please being in new staff that will do a better job. The time and effort that you put into protecting the pool area should also be put into the residents and their safety. We have a online forum where the residents here discuss the issues here with each other and share our personal stories of loss and safety concerns, so we are ALL aware of the multitude problems here. It’s time the Village and Irvine company step up and do something now! We will be heard!

I fully support trying to improve the living conditions at the Village Mission Valley. Security or lack of has not stopped criminals from just walking and driving into our so called gated community without anyone asking any questions. I’ve personally had a $800 mountain bike stolen right off the back of a car parked in my assigned parking spot. The criminal took the bike and walked right out of the garage through the stair door well and rode off. I filed a police report but nothing was ever done. We have homeless people wondering through out neighborhoods and canvassing the place all all hours of the day. Something needs to change ASAP!! We pay too much to live here to have all of these security issues.

You must do a better job of either holding residents accountable for picking up after their dogs and cleaning up after the people who do not bc it's an actual health hazard OR prohibit people from bringing dogs into the community. Yes I understand that some of them are emotional support dogs, but not at the expense of other's emotional or health. Do your job, have them clean up after their dogs or clean it up yourselves.

This is really well written, and I hope it’s taken seriously. As for the gate, they should have metal gates, and only allow entrance with a code. Ditch the “security” person at the gate who are rude and don’t provide any type of security. We should also add a paragraph about rent reimbursement for the many months gym and pools have been closed, and how much they are restricted now. If we can’t use the amenities we pay for, we need to get reimbursed.
