•In a survey (taken 8/25) of Pre-K tuitions tallied from the four schools closest to Village Babies (including South Mountain YMCA) the average cost per month is $1,025.50. Religious Pre-K programs both Catholic and Jewish report even lower prices.

•Village Babies has decreased their discount program on multiple tuitions for families with more than one child enrolled.

•With the imposed increase the typical Village Babies tuition of $1,200 per month will raise to $1,375. Which means an annual price of $16,500.

•The 2013-2014 tuition for Seton Hall Prep was $13,500.

In light of these facts it is safe to say this tuition hike is not based at all on an economy of scale or typical cost of living increases.
