I live in sooke and it takes me an hr to get to work in the morning and an hr and a half to get home... Sometimes longer!! I can only imagine what other people are sitting in traffic for... Medical appointments, job interviews, family, school, etc! Light rail is a must and is a step in the right directions for the population on the island!

Anything to lighten the traffic on the highway. Hopefully it will be used, as tough to get some people out of their cars and into transit instead.

Less pollution, stress and time wasted in traffic. Sounds like a good move.

I think the city is in need of better public transit especially in the Victoria - Colwood commute.

Vancouver Island needs this. Please don't leave it in the hands of the 13 Victoria Fiefdoms.

This is the best idea why is it not a thing already. Look at Vancouver??!?!? So fast and so nice to not be stuck in traffic and wasting gas and making the world too warm.
