I have had an accident at a gas station on a German highway due to a gas spill, which had not been attended. I broke a dorsal vertebra. I did not go to hospital since my doctors said it could heal without an operation. In spite of my getting an attorney the insurance company refuses to cover my income loss (since I work as a freelancer) plus medical fees plus compensation for pain and suffering. Two and a half years later I still have severe backpains and cannot stand or sit for longer times. My attorney says to file suit, but I have no funds left to finance this.
