Vic Hadfield became the first Ranger - and only the sixth NHL player - to score 50 goals in a season. The NY Rangers captain, along with his linemates Ratelle and Gilbert, the GAG (goal-a-game) Line totalled 139 goals and 325 points en route to leading the team to the Stanley Cup Finals. Vic was one of the most popular players in New York Rangers history, Hadfield had a sixteen-year career in the NHL, tallying 323 goals and 389 assists with 1154 penalty minutes in 1002 career games with the Rangers and the Pittsburgh Penguins. Vic deserves to be way up there in the Garden rafters along side Mark Messier. Please sign this petition.

im still reading every single comment about the gag line and it really makes me miss watching him play at the garden. the history attached to that number is just too important to keep hidden away forever so thanks for keeping this moving.

seeing this momentum build is unreal and honestly makes me wish we could get those jerseys in the rafters tomorrow. the support really shows that the history of this team matters to so many people.

Long overdue. The GAG line was the reason I started watching hockey.

My dad grew up watching Vic and always talks about how tough he was. Put #11 in the rafters where it belongs already.
