Det er totalt uakseptabelt at våpen industriens penger / profitt blandes med en musikkfestival og artistene som spiller der. Det er heller ikke et særlig godt bilde for ungdom som vil på festivalen. Produksjon og salg av våpen "fyrer" oppom krig og væpna konflikt- Det skaper ikke den freden vi trenger alle sammen, mennesker dyr og planeten. Den trenger all den omsorg og oppmerksomhet vi kan gi den nå.

A cultural event such as the Kongsberg Jazz Festival is no space for arms companies and the festival should end their association with The Kongsberg Group, as well as promising not to deal with any arms companies in the future
