The Bill of rights was designed to protect us from the government. The second amendment provides the citizens the teeth they need to ensure all rights are not taken away.

Yes...I'm a veteran but there are a large contingent of men and women in this USA that have not served that have talent and with proper training can be as effective as any soldier...and as Commanding Officer of the Texas State Militia, I encourage you to join your local militia, ones that will follow the law, not hide under rocks and be willing to assist in emergencies....but above all....prepare!...CO Beverly, texasstatemilitia.com

The Second Amendment is the Foundation of all of our God given, fundamental Rights. Rights can not be given, nor taken away by any government. It is the job of government to defend these Rights and to not take them away from its citizens.. The Right to own firearms is an Unalienable Right for an individual's ability to defend themselves from criminals harm and a tyrannical government, if it ever becomes necessary. Please do not try to take away our 'Right To Keep and Bear Arms,' and disarm law abiding Americans As a Vietnam Veteran, I have Served my country and defended the Constitution and our Rights. I will continue to do so, My Oath was never repealed.
