I am the daughter of a WWII Naval Veteran who was aboard his ship, The USS PRINCTON CV 127 when it was sunk in Leyte Gulf.. I'm also the mother of a daughter, an eight year veteran of the Afghanistan War era.
They both came home with some problems and our families were blessed to have them home and care for them.

I was not able to serve in any branch of the service due to my bad eyesight at the time, but I fully support those who have served, & I thank them for doing so in my stead. It is only right that a country that required them to serve in the many wars in which America has been involved that they be given reparations before refugees. We, the American gov't, should give them all the help they need & should have been given when they returned from serving in the military.
