My father lost his leg in ww2 and it took 20 yrs before he got his disability. The vet are shamefully treated. America and congress ought to be ashamed of itself.

Vets first was and should be be for any refugee. WE WOULD NOT BE A FREE COUNTRY WITHOUT THE SACERFICE OF VETS. WAKE UP DEMORATS YOU COULD LOOSE YOUR FRER COUNTRY

I'm a Gulf War Sr Veteran who is one paycheck away from being homeless myself. Any other job would have had me vested in some sort of retirement plan. After 17 years in the Air Force, all I have is proud memories to show for it. A C-5 Galaxy flight engineer (like most enlisted aircrew jobs) is now redundent in the civilian job market. Just hit 60 with no retirement and a minimum wage dead end job. Pray for all us Vets in similar or worse circumstances. Thank you and God bless you.
