I'm 63 and I'm still pissed at the way our vet were then and still to this day .. It's a disgrace to the human race

My father, my husband and my nephew's fought for our freedom and now my granddaughter is in the military. God Bless All Our Veterans.

I come from a military family. My dad and his wife alone spent 58 years in the Air Force. My brother cousins uncles too numerous to be counted all served. It makes me so angry to see our Veterans living in such poor conditions. Needing physical.and mental health and not getting any of it. But people that hate us and this country and get money from us and have programs in place to help them. There's an old saying give a man a fish and he eats for the day. Teach him to fish and he eats and his family eats for a lifetime. Most need to stay in their countries and learn how to.make their country's work for them by whatever means it takes for that to happen. As for our own men and women that fight for our country, as soon as they come back to the states, regardless of where they're from.when they get a drivers license or state ID on it should note that they have served and they should be able to take that license or ID to any dr for whatever they need weather they have physical injuries that need attention, or mental or emotional. It should set them up in a system that will help them with education and housing. But the minimal should be their physical snd mental well being. The VA hospitals are toi few and far between to be effective. Why else would there be so many Vets on the street? These are human beings with real needs that often have no money after their bit is up so how can they be expected to go out of town to a place that's not going to house them anymore than where they are? Let alone go and wait for appointments? Anyone reading this say what you feel about this as a step in the right direction to our heros health needs. Please!!!!
