These men and women are our hero, it was their blood that was shade not the unknown.Our vets should be given the red carpet, we owe them are lives and should come first at no cost.

I am the spouse of Vietnam era disabled vet. You would not believe the struggle to get the benefits promised. More paperwork than a home mortgage. So when I see "others" getting federal benefits because they have "legal" child I get upset. If 2 illegals have child here it should be deemed illegal and not receive benefits. They should pay this country for the privilege of living here. J MO.

As a veteran myself, I feel it’s important to take care of our veteran. Some of our war veteran have come home with mental and long lasting health issues. As for the families of our veterans, they too have suffered a loss due the separation from the veteran. Our veterans and families should always come first! When they answered the call to defend our country, they were willing to die for it - so now it’s time that our country answers the call protecting our veteran. We shouldn’t have veterans living on the streets and no medical insurance. Our veteran should be trained so that when they get out of they can hold a job. Stop spending money over seas, worries about how to get refugees into our country and take care of our veterans.
